• Touring E-mail list: This is the best way to find out more about bicycle touring. Even if you don't subscribe, you can get a lot of answers by searching the archives.
• Adventure Cycling Association: The only nationwide organization dedicated to bicycle touring, the  ACA puts out a great magazine and offers detailed maps of certain routes.
• Ken Kifer's Bicycle Camping & Touring pages: Ken Kifer wrote many great articles about all aspects of touring. Though Kifer was killed by a drunk driver while riding near home in September 2003, his memory lives on in his website.
• CrazyGuyOnABike: If you want to read more tour journals, this is a good place to look.
